hi all,

went to a local exhuast shop and they offered me two options (they didn't want to touch x force):

Redback cat-back twin 2.5" or a full CES turbo back system

The CES sounded very good with a 41rwkw gain, though I assume that is with a tune and if not you would def want a tune (which I dont want to do for now), plus it was about 1.5k dearer.

So how are peoples experiences with the redback? any noticeable power gain? any before or after dyno experiences? how loud is it?

Any experiences or thoughts would be great to help me decide. thanks.

my car is only an n/a but I've got pacie 4490's, metal cat and redback 2.5 in' catback and its not very loud at all when cruzing (barely noticable) but on full throttle it has a very nice note to it. fairly loud but not over the top. but I dont know if turbos are louder in any way though.

cant agree. xforce seem to make a good system, but for the price its quite thin gauge and a bit tinny. mild stell sounds deeper and more substantial. my redback is great- and no drone at any speed....

Have cat-back twin 2.5" redback on mine. Picked up 26rwkw with tune (from memory). Got me to 300+rwkw, so was pretty pleased. Nice note too, one is burns in, and doesn't seem to drone too much either.

Good value for money. :stupid:
