Congrats mate, sweet car. How does it compare to your BF XR6T?

Compared to BF XR6T - there is no comparison, I thought the XR6T was fantastic, but this thing is undescribable, I only drive it weekends and it gives you something to look forward to.

The car has more power, it comes in earlier and much harder, suspension even though sporty is not as rough, seats are fantastic.

I had a car accident last March (Young lady ran up the back of my ute while I was stopped giving way to a semi) and injured my lower back pretty badly - driving the XR6 really hurt even after five minutes- when I test drove the G6ET it was comfortable, have driven Rocky to Sunshine coast and Rocky Mackay with absolutely no pain at all.

Next weekend we are off for a little jaunt to the Sunshine Coast to give it a run. Took mates out to dinner last night (GT owners) and they were wrapped in the G6ET.

Great car, just love it the more I get to drive it. It is great being a Grandpa

Oh look, Buffy is all envious :nyyaah:

Yet to take my new(ish) baby up there. Have they fixed the road or is it still a bit goat-track-ish?

Still a goat track, could not work out why sat nav was saying a twenty five minute drive from hotel in Surfers and brochure was saying ninety minutes.

Road surface is good, very steep and winding and a fair bit of single lanes with going up having to give way. Was great fun for a while then you started wishing it was over, great views. Was a little bit of single bitumin with dirt edges near the alpaca farm but luckily we did not meet anyone on this bit.

Had lunch at O'Reileys, very nice but watch out for bush turkeys, had to chase one to get my salad roll back, it was still in the plastic wrap and then shared my chips with a dozen king parrots. Then for a walk in the rain forest on the suspended walkways - something different.

You got over doing it in a car, try having to do it in a truck with a roadranger. its the worst 2 hours of your life. then you have to turn around and do it all again on the way down

Fark that....at least people would have to get out of your way though!

Tucky - if you're down this way next weekend we've got a cruise on Sunday, on some roads that'll make you fall in love with your new beast all over again :beerchug: Better than anything around your regular stomping ground that's for sure.

We will be staying at my sisters at Mudjimba - maybe we can meet up with you in Malaney if time permits
