Yes - Thanks Gents one and all.

I seriously felt a dose of class coming over me driving home today.... switched over to Classic FM to get myself ready for the arrival of the Classy Drive. :beerchug:

Tab - probably end of Oct. Build number came through thisavo, so might get one of the chaps on here to keep an eye on it for me....

Now, I'm just off to get the Softly out to soak my cardy.... you can never be too clean on the creams you know.

I missed the part about the bootlip spoiler... I must have been blinded by the glare off all the chrome to not see it.

Yes it would make them xr-ish, but what would be wrong with that? Some people prefer the sport/corporate look over the retired/upgraded-from-a-camry look.

Uhh Ford already has a car that suits your needs. It's called an XR. Not sure it would be of much benefit to them to make one model any more similar to another model.

PS. I reckon you'd have to be the only person to complain about the amount of chrome! In fact I'm sure I've seen a post around here where someone actually had more added (or maybe just Photoshopped it in).

all the chrome...all the chrome...all the chrome :bliss:

:wtf: are you on about ? If that's your only gripe then paint the front grill and "all the chrome" is gone :spit:

On the creams Johnny? Did you go the white leather? Pimpin' man :buttrock:

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah  no. The Cashmere leather was just a little too much of a senility risk. Figured I'll be spending most of the time keeping the outside clean, and the thought of taking scuff marks of that stuff was a bit too much. Went the dark leather...

And besides - I like the idea of the contrast between the dark leather and ALL THE CHROME!!! :buttrock:

More later once she hits the deck.

Ya can just put normal G6E badges in there place or do what im thinking of doing and put the indicator out of the lower models in the holes behind the badges (just like herrod did to there G6ET), the wiring and plug is already there for them.
