Keep it under 5000k for a white or 2700k for halogen (slight yellow)You also have to wind down the lights as they glare up a bit on the stcok height. The Lumen rating drops as you go up in Kelvin.With the 8000k and above the light penetration gets very poor in bad weather conditions. So I would be happy with the colour of the HIDs you have. Even if they are not what you originally wanted. However if you still want to try 10,000k for a comparison just shoot me a PM.
