Has anyone purchased a body kit off this guy? If so how was the quality? Any feedback would be appreciated as I'm considering purchasing one off him.

looks interesting... If your paying someon to prep, paint and fit them your looking at another 1000-1500$ just a reminder. More if fabrication is needed to make em all fit and sit well. Anyone bought them?

My neighbour is a spraypainter. So labour an painting is very cheap. One thing I would like to know is if anyone knows the colour code that the dark charcoal looking bits are painted from factory on the bottom bits of the front/rear bars.

Redback,

If you are reffering to the Dark Argent paint used on the FPV F6 then its (BAH) For some reason this code is only used internally at FPV/Ford but the paint is supplied by PPG and is a Cobra mix paint. They actually have the colour coded on their system as (2FRFB. I had my wheels painted using this colour/code and it took me a lot of running around to work out what was going on. I have tested it against a mates F6 and it is spot on.

Hope this helps.

Brett.

Also has the GT kit.

Fairly cheap, postage would be minimal too, with me being in Brisbane.

What sort of price is it to paint? (properly)

How weak really is fibreglass?

If I hit a concrete parking square block thing softly, would it break?

Or is it a little more tough than I imagine?

I have been looking around and come across these kits also, not to sure on how much to get it sprayed but fiber glass is a lot more brittle than a plastic bar. All depends on how hard you hit the parking square and what angle it hits it, more than likly the paint will splinter. I always reverse park my car because of those concrete things.

Painting a full body kit would be a a bit, im guessing $300 - $500 depending on the paint shop, and if the kit has already been primed.

My mate in Melb got the GT front from them and apparently it took a fair bit of prep work, a bit more than it should. I got one a few weeks back and had it painted and put on last week. Got mine from Blits on the Gold Coast. Panel beater said it was pretty good quality and wasn't much work in prepping

It was $485+delivery and the fog lights were $110, I think the phoon and gt bars are the same price. Could have got the lights a bit cheaper elsewhere but couldn't be bothered looking around. Got it painted at Badhams at Maroochydore, they did a good job. Not sure exactly on price as it got done with a repair after some moron reversed into me. I had the front 1/4 repaired and painted and the front bar prepped and painted all for $650 if that gives you an idea
