Once you see the same thread a hundred or so times you have to have a little fun with it, but to be fair I don't think I used the search feature for a while when I first signed up either.

Do all ya mods b4 ya get a tune mate, other wise its a waste of time I've done all the bullsh*t bolt on mods and then got a X3tune. Just remember to have fun and enjoy yaself

No offense intended, but why bother?

All this money and you will gain 20rwkw or so... at the end of the day, it will still be eaten by any v8 or Turbo out there. Why not put up with it and upgrade once you are off your Ps? You won't mke a cent back on all the mods you are planning. You'll just make it harder to sell. And don;t say you are doing it for fuel economy and better driveability... that's just self-justification for wasting money. You are doing it for performance like everybody else, just in this case its not a lot of performance.

But if you must, get all your crap installed and then lay down a wad of cash for a tune. but before you do, add up the total cost of all mods, divide that by the amount of kw you will gain and have a look at cost per kw. Then tell yourself that its all worth it and spend the money anyway.

Anyway, when you get a cat installed on your N/A make sure you get the highest flowing one you can, or go to a good exhaust shop. Mine has crapped itself and now makes a terrible rattling sound.
