DBA are a far more superior brand and is also trusted.I would never skimp on the cost of brakes, as you do get what you pay for.

Posted 01/09/09 10:38 AM Share Posted 01/09/09 10:38 AM Was quoted around $220-$230 each for BF (BA performance size) DBA4000 disks.why do people think the BF brakes are the BA premiums. I can tell you they are not. I have had both on my car and know the setups well. Firstly the BF's have a 322mm rotors with the same standard caliper as the run of the mill BA. The BA premiums and FPV PBR's run a 325mm rotors and different caliper. These rotors are also more expensive than the BF 322mm rotor due to not being commonly bought and therefore not commonly supplied item.

Thanks for clarifying it.So are the BF calipers exactly the same as BA with different mounts on the caliper or something to fit the larger disk?
