I would like to know if anyone knows how to remove some interior plastic trim parts on my G6E which I would like to do in a woodgrain or carbon fiber finish. Basically all the trim parts. Surround on inside door handles, trim around vents on driver and passenger sides of dash and trim from front armrest up to and including LCD display.I have had a quote from Ford and they said it would depend on the time. Basically no fixed time or price but could cost up to $800 to remove and re install. They said the door trims surround would take the longest as the door trims would have to be taken off to remove the surround. However speaking to a window tinting place they said the inside door handle inserts pop off without taking the door lining off. Also Ford said the radio and LCD surround is a big job as the radio etc are screwed to it.I do not think the job is as hard or as expensive as I have been told.I am happy to do it myself if anyone knows how these inserts come off. Any info would be greatly appreciatedRegardsFG G6E Turbo Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/61193-how-do-you-remove-radio-fascia-and-trim-inserts/ Share on other sites
