xr6t4life Member 129 Member For: 15y 4m 13d Gender: Male Location: Perth WA Posted 30/08/09 06:56 AM Share Posted 30/08/09 06:56 AM I changed my tranny oil today (6spd manual), jacked up the left hand side of the car and released the drain plug on the drivers side, 4.8l on old oil came out I let it drip for a while and closed it back up then I undone the fill plug on the passengers side and filled it with 4.1L of penrite manual gear oil 70 b4 it started driping out so I closed that and took it for a spin the gear changes are 100% better but every now but when its in nutrul and the clutch is out it vibrates a little bit most likely because its 700 ml short so I jacked the car back up and looked for the reverse switch to top it up a little more but could only find 1 thing which is tight as f*** and doesnt allow much room to get a spanner in there to undo am I looking at the reverse switch or is it something else Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
