Im not sure if the issue is inherent to signal strength around the area and possible inteference or is it the car?Has anybody else got this problem? and if its related to the car is there anything I can do to fix it? There's also the tint thing (metallic tints will interfere) but not sure if that's applicable to you. You better widen your CD collection or MP3's in your car!One way around is if you use a IPhone or Pocket PC type device - DL a digital radio or internet streaming program and use digital radio via the device!Not to sure how the reception is in general on the FG - but if its anything like the BF's CD's FTW!Other option is to look at running an additional antenna - you will find a black coax looking cable in the back of the ICC somewhere, you can run an external antenna, or stronger internal one around your widescreen this may help and will cost maybe 100$ from Jaycar from memory.I would take a guess that the FG's are an internal antenna around the rear windscreen? I can get less than ten mins from the centre of Brisbane and have have crackles. Dealers opinion is that it is fine. The Pioneer radio in my old ute was def better.
