BAD APPLE New Member 9 Member For: 16y 2m 10d Posted 04/09/09 12:24 PM Share Posted 04/09/09 12:24 PM 14.7 is the number deemed required for complete combustion to take place it is refered to as lambda one or stoichiometric. An air fuel ratio any leaner than 12.5 under full load is normally considered to lean for safe engine operation and will cause detonation/pinging that will destroy a boosted engine in no time at all. My advice is drive with a light foot and see your tuner asap if in doubt.
