It is doing the rounds of FFau and perthfalcons.com.au

and Antilag.com ... the bottle + label + head means its beer.

BUT good chance it was confiscated from a passenger in the car... cos afterall, I was on that cruise.. and I had JD's and also a megaphone. haha

Tocchi, it wasnt from the cruise!!

Kael just posted it randomly in that antilag thread

SHOCK: It is amazing what coppers can indeed do with ID, but im not so sure it would be worth it these days when in fact a picture tells a thousand words.

Over the years I've had a few bourban stubbies taken off me for "street drinking" (sunday sessions at Cott etc!) and not once have they never poured it out straight away. No way any normal, hygenic person would confiscate an open drink from someone they dont know and continue to drink it or waste time holding it for someone. Pour it straight out and throw it in the bin.

I dont know about you guys but I'd go as far as saying you can see the outline of a white moosehead on a green label which features on the neck of TEDs!

first glance you can spot it as a TEDs... But I reckon theres a better chance it is taken from someone rather than "just chilling while my partner writes a ticket what should I do? oh I'll neck a beer..." I would imagine cops have to pickup/hold all sorts of dodgy sh*t - doesn't mean its theirs....

I must admit the evidence above is fairly clear.

I can also make out the white horns on the top of the bottle.

My wife also made it out straight away.

IF he was necking the beer, then he should get in trouble as there would be no excuse to drink on the job.

lol, no paper would ever publish this. Without background info or at least a credible witness statement its simply unknown whats happening. Anyone who published this in the paper would get a blasting and look like clowns for not investigating it. Pretty serious allegation to make when the full story is not known.

Could be photoshopped anyway?? radio replaced by beer :stirthepot:

I spent just under eight years in the cops. I have no love left for the organisation but a lot left for the job. If that pic means in reality exactly what it is at face value, then send it to the papers mate. That sh*t was supposed to stop years ago. It gives the honest, hardworking and fair handed coppers a bad name. I wouldn't give a f*ck if it were a plumber drinking on the job, but not Police. Distribute it.
