Do I get extra points for doing it on jack stands Arron?

I've already done mine just left that valve on.

I'll try your suggestions. I couldn't figure out a way to get in there.

No all the zf input anodised fittings are 1/2 inch , the ones Rob has posted up are 3/8th

I use the genuine speedflow 1/2 inch fittings ;)

You guys do realize the size of the stock heat exchanger and after market PWR oil/air cooler (oil inlet and outlet) is 7 or 8 mm.

3/8 hose is all that's needed.

I think 3/8 is right on the money IF the cooler is very close to the trans.

I figured with the extra distance it had to travel (added resistance on the longer hose wall ) , it made sense to have a larger cross sectional area for the fluid to flow trough, to help avoid excessive back pressure on the pump.

Probably only 3mm diameter in it anyway.

Ale, I used 4m of hose, but I bought a 5m length to make the flush a bit easier.

The cooler is a true-cool 49418.  its about 275 x 200 x 38mm. Its what my trans guy recommended and supplied.

I'm aware jet and others appear to be using the 25mm thick coolers which obviously work well too.
