Yes it will fit with the foam mounting system I fitted mine behind an f6 cooler it fits just !! besides what this forum said its a massive karnt.

To get extra read vital room undo the radiator mounts at the top and slide it all the way back towards the engine this gets you maybe 10-20mm which you need also mounting it near the top middle seems to give you a tiny bit more room I think from memory I even had to leave the radiator mounts off refit the cooler then refit the rad mounts after the cooler is in as the cooler was fowling everything.

Good luck I def wouldnt ever do it again with an f6 cooler

Thanks for the help.

Maybe my inter cooler had non genuine rubber mounts (longer) as there was no way the trans cooler would fit. Ended up shortening the intercooler mounting brackets (cut and weld job) all good then. Also had to modify the horn bracket .

I also found the following helpfull when fitting the intercooler with the trans cooler in place.

The thread on the rubber mounts were way longer then they needed to be , cut them as short as possible where they bolt on to the brackets.

Have the brackets floating around the general area (in the car!), fit the intercooler from underneath, attach it to the brackets, bolt the brackets to the car.

wilba,

Have a go yourself mate, it seriously isn't that hard and you will be rapped with yourself once its done regardless of what it looks like! As long as there isn't metal on metal rubbing and its sturdy your onto a winner so have a crack at it...

I dont have any photo's of mine, but its mounted up behind the drivers foglight. Have had slots cut out in inner guard for airflow. Couldn't fit it our front due to the Process West cooler.

The installer was a little worried about airflow during summer, so we will see. Might have to get creative making air inlets in the lower grill or doing something around the fog lights.

I'll get some snaps next time the front bar is off.
