Have not installed them yet.they cost me $165 plus 15 postage, I have only heard good things about these items from other people who have used them I hope they work because I have a 1500km trip from Adelaide to Sydney to complete, might want to keep the old ones also! Genuines lasted around 3 months before starting to show signs they were on the way out. The cheap Chinese units lasted 6 months and now need replacing. The cheapies I got were not Borgg but were around the same price at $145. Where do you think the genuines are made anyway?I have just purchased some Weapon X coils (retail $660) from eBay to use in my 1000hp+ project. I'm hoping they will be all I need as far as ignition system goes because CDI systems knock out a lot of functionality in the ECU including ABS. Anyway, I'll report back once I get them and test them for a bit and if they're any good, maybe a group buy will be on the cards? They come with a 1 year warranty but so do all the cheapies. I've conversed with the seller and I explained that my last 3 sets all failed after 3-6 months and he reckons these things will definitely go the distance. They do look very serious and apparently have 80,000 volts of spark compared to about 28,000 the Genuine coils make. See how they go. But I got the impression they were extremely confident that they would not fail. For the typical daily driver seeing up to around 400rwkw, $660 might seem pricey but I'm looking at it in a few ways. Firstly, these should pick you up a little HP compared to stock units. Secondly, if they last for 18 months the cost would be similar to what I would have been paying for stock units and thirdly, these are for my big HP project. So if $660 is the only outlay for my ignition system, they are actually a bargain. In the US, they have these coils on a 1200RWHP Mustang. So it would seem they can handle big boost and still keep on sparking their little hearts out.One thing that will make any of these COP coils last longer is to run without the garnish on. The garnish keeps heat in and that's what shortens their life span. These Weapon X coils actually have a locking mechanism that locks the coil to the plug which means you can confidently run with the garnish removed and that's what I'll be doing. Im sure there warranty would be genuine aswell. Not quite as sure as these ones im buying, I hope they dont die and if they do I hope the warranty isnt bodgey

I highly doubt their coil packs were made in Hungary. And Visteon haven't supplied the coil packs to Ford since the second revision from memory.
