Guys.

I have been offered a demo 09 F6 with 11K on it from a sydney dealer for 64K.After speaking to a sales guy down there they have new F6s in black but nearlly 80K.I dont think so.

I was on Lane fords website this morning and they have them brand new for 67K?.

Since all of you have done your deals already what do you think about this price.?.

I am going to trade my TT territory on it if the deal is right.

Is this the sort of money I should be looking at?.

I am not impressed with the trade value but 2nd hand cars are not worth anything anymore.

I am going to take advantage on the 50% governent handout plus depreciation as a business vehicle.

All comments would be much appreciated.

New car list prices haven't changed that much in the past few years, other than the FG being the new shape.

I have seen demo,s with 8km 20km as low as 64995. no one has even driven them. so they still have a little bit to move. either way they,ll stitch you up on your trade. so don,t play easy to get. always walk away and clear your head. they,ll come back everytime. when they give up, its time to start to negoiate. lol

I bought my 06 BF MkII typhoon with everything except leather, satnav and the dark argents ( have 19" blades) with 4,600kms on the clock, ex ford executive car so I am the first private owner, full balance of warranty (till march 09), on novated lease through work so it was GST exempt for 34,990, in feb this year. I was looking very closely at buying a FG and I have one as a hire car at the moment ( see shockwave paint warranty issue) and I'm so glad I bought the BF , it is a much better car, easily and cheaply modded to make good power, if you know a good tuner

Hi ASNU,

You can get a new FG F6 in Brisbane for around 65k drive away without trying. That said I paid less than 62k for mine with 500km on the clock, less than two month old demo. You're better off selling your TT privately if you can cause you'll end up with a better deal. I sold my BF F6 for 3k more than the best trade in offer.

Been offered a showroom model auto with 20km, Viper, Leather, reverse camera and optional dark argent wheels for $64k drive away. What do you think, has anyone had a better deal? Is there much room in these to move?

62k demo 4000k fg f6 , trade 40k on current rspec

New Nitro "showroom demo" F6 sedan, approx 20km, 19" dark argents, leather, auto, reversing camera for $61k.

Also been quoted $65k on similar spec by other dealers so shop around and squeeze them.....

So true, together with the government Business 50% Bonus Tax deduction and standard annual depreciation it makes for a cheap buy over the coming years. Cant wait!
