Mate the cross sectional diameter of a 3" pipe is not enough for our xr6t. I dont know if the FG has twin 2 1/4 like the BA/BF but 3" on ours isn't enough for future mods.

The standard exhaust is 3 inch and straight through. Can't see any real gain with this system other than maybe a better flowing cat. Might even flow worse than the standard system. Interesting how people design these things and sell them as an upgrade.

I've got the FG exhaust hanging on the wall from my G6... its accually a very nice exhaust, full stainless, tight radius mandrel bends ect. The centre section splits into twin 2.25 pipes then back into 3inch, the mergers are very smooth.

Same deal as with BA-BF's... 3.5 or bigger all the way if your going for alot more power.

I heard the std G6ET / XR6T exhausts were good. So do you think that unless your going for over 350 rwkw and or loudness you may as well stick with the std exhaust and just change the dump and cat?

RAP1D.... for what it's worth, is there any chance you could post a photo of the STANDARD system for future reference purposes??
