Under-Pants Member 2,103 Member For: 16y 11m 10d Gender: Not Telling Posted 25/08/09 08:47 PM Share Posted 25/08/09 08:47 PM Mate I don't believe that anyone has had success with an aftermarket stall on the ZF yet.From what I understand it's an internal fail-safe that makes the trans play silly-buggers as soon as you try and play with aftermarket units.With the editing capability that Blueboost condured a coupe of years ago, there isn't really a massive need for an aftermarket unit IMO as plenty of ZF Falcons are getting out of the hole reasonably well whilst still running the massive trap speeds that the ZF's with their lock-up converter are famous for...These cars are responsive enough to use the standard converter, in the majority of cases Id imagine. Like they've said 1.6's are getting pretty common even the occasional 1.5- as well as the mph to back it up. You get the best of all worlds including it will still drive like the day it come off the floor.
