Abs And Traction Light Plus (!)

Hey guys,

Just got an xr6 turbo and when I bought it the rear left abs sensor was broken.

When it was like this, I couldnt use cruise control or TCS. The (!) light would pop up everytime I turned the car on but only once I started moving.

Now, After replacing the Abs sensor whenever I turn the car on the abs alarm comes on, as does the (!) light and the TCS is disabled (without even driving). I can now however use cruise control.

Any ideas what this could be guys?

Any help appreciated. Or if you know a decent mechanic around brisbane.

Different sized wheels and tyres front to back? Checked the other sensors?

Actually, I do have different size tyres front and back but would this still be occuring before I start moving in this situation? How would the car know this until I start rolling?

Hmmm, good question, maybe check the sensor is plugged in properly?
