I'm hoping someone else here has the satellite navigation option!

The volume on my SatNav is very low, even when I set it to the maximum volume. It lowers the volume of whatever audio is playing, but the voice-over is almost inaudible when your music is at a respectable level.

When I mentioned this to my service dealer, they said they'd need the car for an entire day to fix it, which I find slightly ridiculous. Does anyone know what the fix entails? Or has anyone had the fix performed and could tell me how long it took?

Not yet. I'm going to call my dealer again (though being in Canberra, I might wait until some of the bushfire crisis is over first) and organise for it to be fixed.

When they say they need it all day, tell them you'll come back at some stage, and if no-ones working on it you'll go off!! Funny how they can suddenly change tune!

True, I usually say I will drop by sometime and see how its going. Once when I actually did drop by was in the arvo and the car was still sitting out the front. I asked them if they were letting it get a sun tan. Now they probably just let it sit around the back so I cant see it.

I have the sat-nav option...

What I do remember was that very early build cars had an issue... To my recollection there was definitely TSB regarding this...

Ask you dealer if he/she knows... I am certain that it only affected very early build cars though...

Cheers,

Ross
