I have an ex NSW cop car BA XR8 and am not sure if I have the premium brake option. The brakes are silver (bare) PBR calipers at the front and the rears have the eliptical groove in the discs. I am buying new rotors and need to specify which I have.

Can anyone help me identify them without pulling the wheel off or posting pics?

Thanks for your help.

and the eliptical groove gives it away too.

rears are all the same...... fronts will be between 30-32mm thick if they are premium

The front Premium Brakes have a black powdercoated caliper. Rear caliper is std Al.

Both Front and Rear discs used the 'eliptical' groove pattern.

The car in question sound like it has standard brakes with a premium disc at the rear.

or the front discs have been replaced with non groved discs

if the calipers are bare and not powder coated black with FORD lettering or blue with FPV lettering, I dare say they are standard fronts.
