You cant get the fuel out anyway... a hose will only go a little way down the filler befor it gets stuck, but yeah, someone could put something in

Is the sugar/salt really a major concern these days?

We have a sock filter attached to the pump, then a really fine filter in the line, that should be more than ample to catch grains. Besides wouldnt salt/sugar disolve in petrol, isnt ethanol sugar based?

How much damage could it potentially do, how would it do it, and is it any worse than getting a dodgy tank of fuel from a crapola servo?

Don't go and ruin the hysteria with a dose of logic :blink:

I'm sure it would still f*ck a few things up, but louts these days would be too lazy to bother trying to get something past the flap in the spout of the filler just for sh*ts 'n giggles. I mean why would you...when you can just run a key up the side instead? :pinch:
