Just notice that the fuel cap/flap can not be locked whether the car is locked or unlocked!

Is there an OEM lockable fuel cap or an aftermarket one that fits?

I read somewhere that the later built cars do have lockable fuel cover. Can this be retro fitted?

Utes have had this problem for a long time. 80L tank full of 98PULP and neither the cap or lid lock. I know motorcraft sell a flue cap that is lockable, may be a vise investment.

Out Mondeo also has the same problem, however they have no fuel cap at all.

Thx INASNT.

After abit more research, the fuel cap is made by CPC. I spoke to a young lad at supercheapauto and got him to order in a cpc lockable fuel cap for the fg falcon. About $40 and a few days wait...

They wont stop someone removing the new cap and taking your petrol or worse putting something else in your tank I dont think? I saw an add for non-return caps in Motor Mag but havent really looked into great detail for them

Here is the SCA part number: SP100204 cap fuel locking cpc. It's actually $45.

Thx XtRmn8. Does it (motorcraft) fit the fg model?

You all must live in real dodgy areas for having to need a lockable cap!?!?!

I've got 300L worth of Ultimate Diesel sitting in the landcruiser, the buggers would still be there in the morning if they tried to pinch it.
