I think it may be different hardware between the BA and BF but different varients in each model should be able to use the same ECU as long as ford program it right (or you should be able to do it yourself, but its rather expensive to get set up for that) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am basically looking at cheap option to get around a licensing issue my tuner is facing with the the VCM edit software (beta). The news gets better with the tune result but more on that later.I'll find out more from my tuner tomorrow about what needed to be done regarding the vin number for others considering going down this path.
