Took a new G6ET far a short spin on sunday I thought it was a Very nice car too nice to drive hard into corners and a bit soft after being used to the XR over past 5yrs steering good . TC a bit touchy taking right hand turns no LSD? the reason not sure I thought the 6 speed auto slick but found it hard to tell which exact gear I was in while driving in D didnt try SSS at the time. And to be fair I was being fairly gentle on the gas as car had only 100km on clock and not my own

You need to find one at a dealer....their demos can be pushed to the limit with under 100km on the clock. Apparently. Must be a special build or something :spit:

I am intrigued, Mine doesnt reset the seats from unlocking with the remote key, you actually have to get in and push one of the memory buttons. If my wife drives it using my key (which is normal as the spare key id put away somewhere safe) and she moves the seat, gets out and locks the car without moving the seat back this now becomes the new memory position.

In my last car, if tou unlock it using the key remote the seats would automatically move back to the memory position of that particular key, this is a very useful feature.

I think my seat module is stuffed but Ford cant tell me if this is normal or not........

Does anyone know if the seat should move when unlocking with the remote?

Thanks

JJs your seats are working correctly

The system recognises the last adjustment made with that key being used and resets everthing to that setting when that key is reused.

To keep your settings don't let your wife use your key. She should use the other key.
