hey guys, my cats on its way out, im hearing little rattles every now and then and ive had some white powdery smoke come out the exhaust some times.

so my options are,

new cat from ford which include the cat and all piping till the middle muffler. 650-750

cut out the cat , gut it and weld a pipe through it so it all looks factory and then have it welded back into place,

WHAT WILL THIS GIVE ME, NOISE, POWER, FUMES. WHAT DO YOU THINK? Dont know how much it costs but shouldb'e be too much.

or I could get a hi flow cat but as far as I know, that's only the cat so it still needs to be cut out and then the hi flow welded in place. prob about 200 second hand.

So please tell me what you think... and what you have done?

Cheers, wookie.

Yep and if you gut the cat, you need $10,000 for the fine.

My advice would be to buy a standard cat section, from the wreckers or look on the for sale section for someone offloading a standard one after upgrading.

Otherwise buy a hi-flo and injectors and get a retune. :tonguepoke:
