your kidding. In terms of looks a BF Phoon puts it right into Panda's eye IMO

edit. If I was to buy an FG it certaintly would not be a T or a Phoon.

Blown GTE all the way pour moi

I was askin myself the same question about a new 07 BF or a BA F6 with 25000ks for the same $$

went the f6 and dont regret it, resale is heaps better and if your planning to mod it warrenty is void anyway (in most cases)

I would think most of us that bought an FG XR6T have thought about this... my conclusion was:

FG is quicker, at least in day to day, less lag, better rear end.

FG is safer, better on fuel, more spacious, more comfortable, better equipted.

but the two things that really changed my mind, the quality of the FG is worlds ahead of the earlier models, interior, exterior fits plus door closing NVH etc. and the other thing was the integrated technologies like bluetooth, ipod etc.

not really anything to discuss in my eyes. The F6 is not gonna be as comfy as a daily driver and will age pretty quickly compared to the current model.

Update on this. The advice was appreciated. I drove both the FG XR6T and the BF F6 and struggled to make a decision. The BF felt more aggressive, the FG more lively.

In the end I did the unthinkable and signed up for a 3yr lease to own on a brand new Fg F6 which basically consumes the money I would have spent on either the BF or FG XR6T but over the course of 3 years and leaves a relatively small residual at the end of term which I can either pay outright or finance.

So, the deal is done. Flying down to Christchurch next Wednesday to drive the new baby home.

The BA will then begin a somewhat dramatic transformation but that story will develop as I progress.
