Its a little worse than just loose bolts unfortunatly the flywheel is fully f'd. No stress though a new atomic flywheel is already on its way up. It should be here early next week just in time to give it a tickle up & then a little something extra for our little cruise. Im gonna leave the full race tune til I get back just in case sh!t happens as I sought of want/need it for chrissy.

apart from the aps one that wound it out to over 300klm which I think had xr8 diff gears (???)

I used to cruise around in that grey mule all the time while it was being developed back in '03/'04. They tampered with the final drive ratio and the speed limiter to get the 307kph. Apparently on the day it had 342rwkw but not sure about the convertor Pete used?

lol im sure it'll be all good. All we're waiting for is one part & then if the gear shift are soughted it should be all a goer. Gonna need one hell of a clean up after the drive but im sure we can sought something out. Gonna try & drve only during the day but we'll see how we go.

the bugs are rank at night especially if you take the inland road but its more so for the dead wildlife. Last trip we had to do a few side steps from dead cattle on the road, can you imagine what that would do to the front end it would be a write off. We need to get there pretty quick but not that quick id prefer to take it easy & be safe.

I should know by mid next week if its all good for the trip.

We have a winner, the flexplate has turned up & the box is out with it all goin back together tomorrow sometime. Its goin back on the dyno to have another crack at the 98 tune cause they recon theres more there & then on to a fun tune to take to brissy. Barring any breakages I should see yas on the 28th rockin & rolling. Plan is go up friday arv & pick it up & go & have some fun & see if anything breaks before the long ar5e drive to brissy.

I think I might be a little excited now.
