Street tune is finished & we couldnt of picked a worse week to tune a turbo car but it still made respectable power. Theres some more fine tuning & the road test to go to make sure everythings ok & goes round & round. With it app 35deg & not very nice humidity it made 454rwkw on app 24-25psi (run done in 4th gear).

The smaller housing has compramised topend power but with it comin on as early as the stocker & at fullboost by mid 3000's rpm what more can ya want. I havent driven it yet cause I decided to let them have a crack at a another street tune with a dash of the good stuff in the tank just for when I want alot of fun & then the full race tune.

There comments were dont bother looking at the dyno figure you cant even compare it to what you had before, it was a fast sprint runner before now its like a mad draught horse & that was when they took it for a run with 40 less kw. lol. The only other thing they said was it was completely quiet, very smooth, perfectly mannered until about 3800 & then the screamer comes on & all hell breaks lose, cant wait to hear it if nothing else.

I'm really hopeful for the next 2 tunes cause out of interest they bupmed the boost up to 27 for a run to see how it would react (that & I think they were havin too much fun) & it went biserk so theres plenty of fun & more figures to come that should promise to make even me smile or even better make me scared sitting in the driver seat.

They did a video of it on one of its runs so when they put it up I'll post a link.

You will be very happy with that John, don't be too concerend about the number on the screen, if it feels right and sounds crisp that power will more than impress you! All dyno's read diferently at the end of the day. 24-26psi would be about the limit you can run reasonably safely on a street tune/pump fuel just make sure you always run good fuel!!!

I can't wait till you drive the thing and give us your first impressions!!! Make sure you let me know when you are in Brisbane I would love to see your beast in the flesh. Enjoy!!!

just a sneak peak of alot more to come. I hope it lives up to expectations for those that put so much effort into it.

nice power, especially from the mainline as its a tough but accurate mistress!

any chance of a full engine bay photo, caught a sneak peak as you panned the camera across to the screens and what I saw I like, rocker cover looks the bizz!

the gate, plumb or sreaming eagle?

It wasnt my doin the boys were nice enough to get the hd camera out & give me a sneak peak as I wasnt gonna get up there to see it. We should have some more vids in the next couple of days with the next tunes bein done to it plus when I get it back its getting a good once over & then I'll get one of my mates who's are good with a camera to take a few shots. I might even sneak right out the back of our little town & get a few short sound snaps with a flyby or 2.

Spiro, I'm happy with the way it all sounds the engines really smooth & tight, the induction noise is as you would except but the screamer will take abit of gettng used to. The boys up there love it but I only heard it when it had a lowly 5psi which as you could imagine was shocking but im sure now that its opening at 20 plus it'll be a different story.
