The GT42 should see you the other side of 500rwkw. I'll be interested to hear how you find drivability.

Great to see it all coming together bloke, looks like it will be a weapon at WOT for sure.

Drivability with the GT42 will um ... be very interesting!

Does SVS think it'll make any boost below 4000rpm?

Thanks mate, it should sing that's for sure I cant wait to let it rip. I'm gonna get the boys to put a 4500rpm limiter while im running the box in just to keep me under control. lol.

As for it making boost under 4000 I'm hoping so. We've gone with the smallest exhaust housing possible (smaller than factory @ 1.01) & the a/r is .6 so in theory it should do, if not its gonna be a fun 3000rpm after that.

I got a message at smoko that the manifold is all ready to be sent so its all happening but in the interest of reliabilty I ordered a chromemoly tail shaft with a few other bits upgraded. This should take about 2 wks from now or there abouts so it shouldnt push the end result back too far as its pretty much a straight bolt up when it gets back. Me & my bright ideas.

It is good news, one less thing to wait for. I'm actually getting the shaft off kyle from 6boost.

The build back together has begun. The other engine is completly stripped down & parts have started to be transferred to the atomic engine. Manifold should be here anyday now as well. There pretty busy but one of the boys has been staying back til 10pm to try & get it all happening.

Its comin together already, The engines got the manifolds on & one healthy sized gt42. There making the cooling lines next week as well as the custom dump pipe. The only hitch is the wrong valve springs were sent but that's pretty much overnight anyway. A new fuel regulator & the 80lb injectors will be here early next week as well. The tailshaft is on route to have a custom chromemoly one made up. Could be about 3 weeks at the earliest I'd say & that's if the boys get a chance to get to it. Got to love abit of progress. The manifold isnt polished but black but that's ok still should look ok. Have seen a pic of it it looks massive as.
