Project ZF 1000hp & 9sec

After a minor hiccup with the zf & knowing the car was goin to be off the road for a period of time ive made the decision to push things a notch or two up.

After the verdict of the zf being reasonably minor & with the engine basically on the door step ive decided to put a bigger turbo on the dirty old taxi & wind the wick right up.

The cars a BFMK11 XR6T with a zf 6spd & to date done a measly 34000klm. Its been modified since the day I drove it off the showroom floor as a demo car. Its seen various stages of power from a lowly 310hp to its latest 580rwhp before it laid stationary after I hurt the g/box.

To support it all it'll the heart will be the new atomic 998kw short engine comprising of the a sonic, crack & whatever tested wise they do atomic block, prepped crank, new mahle forged high boost pistions, atomic billet (fat) rods, race girdle, billet oil pump gears & new housing, acl bearings & apr stud kit, valve springs to handle well into 30lb's with a bunch of all the usual stuff. As for the zf I twisted the input shaft to within a ml of snapping & smashed the oil pump. Its been replaced with a new heat treated shaft & new oil pump as well as the usual stuff that the boys do. It hasnt just been repaired but been built to handle the power we're gonna throw at it. Before anyone asks im not gonna tell the price as the boys really, really looked after me & asked me not to divulge. I'm eternally grateful for what theyve done for me. As for whats gonna push some more air through the system it'll be a gt42 with the smaller housing in a variation cooked up & decided on by SVS with a 6boost manifold, 60mm ex wastegate, custom dump & cooling lines. It'll be fully ceramic coated as well to keep the bloing look we're goin for. Will be used for show as much as go so why not!!!

I dont really have an end goal powerwise as I dont really know what to expect but we're not gonna be shy as im confident we have the hardware to support some descent numbers. Cant wait to get it on the road. We're aiming for under a month with the manifold being the biggest hold up at this point. The rest of it should be here by the end of next week at the latest. Gonna turn some heads at the big show up in cairns the end of next month especially when we put the 110 through it. lol

Thanks. Its my dream car so why not go all out??? I'm aiming for the best of all worlds. It'll never see a race track so im not goin over the top with the suspension or brakes that about all that will be left untouched. That & I like the comfortable ride & our roads are too ordinary to get to carried away to slam it. Cant wait to get it back.

oh hell yeah just not goin too fast around corners. lol. Im abit worried about the rearend but what can you do.

ummm next question Adam lol. Ive left it in the hands of the boys at svs. Will have all the details tomorrow hopefully. I told them what I want & expect out of the car & have worked it out from there. Isnt gonna be biggest speced gt42 as I want more low & mod but still want to make a respectable topend figure.

should be different to drive im sure. Want more of a hard punch which im sure itll offer.

Should look hot under the bonnet with all the bling as well.
