ok guys this is kind of odd but not sure if its a problem or not but defiantly annoying... when driving and slowing down to come to a complete stop, just before the car comes to a stop I can feel the trans click down a gear?? very noticeable...

Ummm...it is

It adapts to your driving style, if you putt around all day it'll stay in second when you come to a complete stop. Otherwise it'll change down to first...that's what you're experiencing.

Is a bit harsh at times but that's the same as the BF was.

Try driving it in manual mode for a while and leave it in 2nd before you come to a stop each time and don't use 1st. Keep driving like this for a few hours then put it back into D and it won't down shift to 1st unless braking really hard. It just adjusts to your driving style.
