Hi is there anyone that can tell me what the standard tolerances and specs are for a f6 Rspec wheel alignment.

I.e

Best for handling toe in front & rear

Castor and camber angles front & Left & Right SAI etc

There seems to be plenty on most other model details but I can't help but feel the standard r Spec was set a little differently from factory.

The reason I ask is I want to choose my own Alignment specialist but want to give him a base to work from. and I can't seem to get this info from ford or fpv.

I am looking for a street or twisty road spec, that will provide relative neutral balanced steering and maybe when feeding it a foot ful power induced oversteer...if & when I want it...

Cheers

The BA XR6 I owned had all the suspension specs in the owners manual. Not sure if it was carried over to the BF's though. Have you checked out your owners manual?

I HAVE BEEN A WHEEL ALGNER FOR 5 YEARS AND MY BA MK2 XR6T RUNS VERY WELL ON -.5 NEGATIVE DEGREE CAMBER ALL AROUND, FRONT CASTOR 7 DEGREES, 2 MM TOE IN FRONT AND REAR. PERFECT TYRE WEAR ON STANDARD HEIGHT WITH 17 INCH DUNLOP SP3000GAYS

I SUSPECT THE R SPEC WOULD BE RUNNING -1 DEGREE NEGATIVE ( BEING 30MM LOWER THAN THE STOCK T) CAMBER ALL AROUND, APPROX 7 DEGREES CASTOR , 3MM TOE ON THE FRONT AND REAR.

AS A RULE OF THUMB FOR EVERY ONE DEGREE EQUALS 2MM WHETHER IT SHIMS , CAMBER OR TOE IN.

WE WHEEL ALIGN CUSTOMERS CARS EVERY 5-10000KS AND ADJUST ACCORDINGLY

EASIEST WAY TO GET BETTER TYRE WEAR IS INCREASE YOUR PRESSURE OVER MANUFACTURERS SPECS BY 10 PERCENT MAINTAINED REGULARLY
