1/2 an hour to fit with 4 small holes and a screw to hold it in.

where are the small 4 holes made? Would the holes be obvious if the grille is removed completely?

 Taken from ROB HERROD himself

These grills retail for $150 including gst less 5% for forum members plus postage.Take around 10 minuts to fit and come powder coated in satin black.we can send un coated for people whom want to color code to bumper bars.

These grill are so popular that we sold 15 in 2 days

4 Small holes are made in the top part of the second plastic just behind the number plate and yes the holes would be obvious if the grille is removed completely but there only a very small hole 1/8 if not smaller and really you have to look dam close to notice.

There a lazer cut stainless sheet, Geoff showed me the uncoated prototypes when I went in for the lowered suspension. This is the third rendition of them so that they form with the hole nicely.

Three small holes in the black plastic strip wouldnt be realy noticed but the one in the lower part of the skirt where the screw goes in might be if it was removed no removal of the bumper needed when fitting.

Don't mean to rain on your parade, it just doesn't do it for me, sorry.

No parade necessary Ken just passing on some info for those that are interested, the flymesh grille didnt do it for me either. ;)

Sorry Dagabond, but just goes to show haw we all have different taste!

Different strokes for different folk's.

And if air restriction is a concern

Who's concern??

I don't like them either. The colour looks off and the grill is sorta less "shiny". The grid patterns is sort of "thick" compared to the top grill. But if the grill was as "shiny" as the top grill and the same or darker colour it may look better. The logo also makes it look "cheap". Just my point of view.

As BATRB-6 just pointed out there available uncoated if you want to detail them in whatever colour you wish and as ducatijb  said it need's a wash this together wth the angle of the photo makes it look a lot flatter than it is. The top grille is a flat gray...

is that Herrod Number plate cover or something?

Photochopped Chris, borrowed from Rob's website.

But I also forgot to add that seeing it in front of me and not a photo may improve my outlook on it ;) Fortunatly my dealership is a herrod agent aswell.. I may have to take a closer look at the grill there. That said, I could be tempted, because it is the only grill that I have seen that is exactly the same "grid" size as the XR6's top grill. Some of the other versions look a little mismatched.

looks great.....is it available without the Herrod badge in the grill?

Yes, that puts me off a bit. Nothing against Herrods I would just prefer plain. Or maybe fordxr6turbo.com B)
