A hypothesis on defective colour perception in elderly persons

An alloy of mercury and silver (+ other bits tin ect) is called amalgam and is used by dentists to fill holes in peoples teeth.

From the posts of the cardigan set team HAG I suggest a hypothesis for thier inexplicable behaviour eg buying a car of the quality of the XR6 turbo, and then selecting such an bad colour and then being proud of it:

They're suffering from mercury poisoning

we know that:

- dental amalgam fillings consist of 50% mercury

- mercury leaks from the fillings

- mercury is highly toxic and

- low grade chronic mercury intoxication can give rise to symptoms as; anxiety, irritability, fatigue, outbursts of temper, stress intolerance, decreased simultaneous capacity, loss of intelligence, indecision, headache, depression, defective colour perception

I suggest that people with poor dental hygene and multiple fillings become more likely to buy this colour as they age. The older you are the longer you are exposed to the mercury leaking and thus warping ones mind in ways that can be easly demostrated (use the seach facility and look up just about any KEN 24T post and you'll see what I mean.)

so why did Ken get a merc silver car?

He ate too many lollies as a kid and didn't brush his teeth.

Nice one sixfan.

I'm off to bake some delicious deserts and feed them to "foo foo".

pffft....AS IF!

Ken (& Co).....You can regurgitate one 'Cardigan Grey', impotent, powerless statement after another, there will always be someone to cut you down to size every time. Time to refer back to your thesaurus for the next pointless onslaught fella's.

Sixfan, ed-au-ba-xr6! :o

Such a response only indicates to me that you guys must secretly, really want to be Team HgAg members. Classic case of HgAg-envy if ever I saw one.

It's ok to admit your initial colour choice was a rushed, un-thoughtout affair, determined by the impetuousness often associated with youth. Nobody blames you for being attracted to the flashier, sparkling colours. It's not your fault, you were drawn, neigh, compelled toward the pretty colours. :)

I do find it interesting that you don't actually declare your colour choice or any other car details for that matter Sixfan. What's the matter, embarrised?

... items for shopping list: 1 kilo sugar, new tooth brush.

Got talking with a highway patrol officer the other day,He was driving an unmarked merc/silver xr6t

He wasnt a bad fella for a coppa and went on to explain that they chose the merc/silver cause they wanted to be bland, inconspicuos,be able to mix it with the others till one stepped out of line

He also mentioned that he was involved in a high speed pursuit, chasing a phantom XR6T,but couldnt catch it,something to do with being a faster colour or something
