Hey Guys

I own a 2009 Fg xr6 ute and want to do a few mods for a bit more power. I have been told to upgrade my air filter as the stockie is quite restrictive but what do you think would be the most cost worthy mod for a good power gain. Cheers :beerchug:

I've got the SS Inductions Growler on my FG, and whilst it gives a great sound, I wouldn't be looking at one if you want big power. If you only going to do a bit of modding, then fair enough, but we all know that once you start you'll find it hard to stop! They cost around $500 as well, so it isn't cheap compared to what you get from Process West / Rapid etc. If I had the time over again, I would have just waited and got one of their intakes and battery re-location kits, do away with the x-over and allow for a plenum upgrade in the future as well.

concentrate on a free flowing intake.. (larger snorkel typhoon 2nd intake.. K&N filter) possibly a 3 inch mandrel bend aluminium pipe to the throttle body..

Extractors and cat back 2.5 inch exhaust..

a custom flash tune..
