And my slowest mph was 116.9Did I do ok?This was on my 19in wheels with nankang ns2's.I thought with my current power of 317rwk I would do better.Im new to this rwd stuff so any tips would be helpful

A general rule of thumb is that every 10th of a second off the 60ft means 2/10ths off your ET.Looking at your power you should be able to cut alot off that time with a good launch - good job for your fist time though! Work on you 60', if you can get it down to 2.0 you should sneak an 11.9999999.Still a good effort for you first outing. It took me several runs before I could get my 60' below 2.2 and several more before I managed a 1.9 on my 19's. In the words of JP300 'do a bigger burn out'. Will that make a difference? My aim is anything under 12.4 on my 19's.This is gettin exciting!!Whats your technique jimmy. If I can get under 2.2 60 footers il buy u a beer! I can't remember exactly but I think I ran 23/24 psi in my 19's.Then just give it a good solid burn out. Some people say it does not make to much difference on the street tyres but my best 60's came with my biggest burn outs.As for the launch just try to get the car just on boost.say 0 to 1psi, the boost is such a fine line a little to much and you smoke em not quite enough and you get lag. After a couple of outings you will start to feel that balancing point between lag and wheel spin, from there the times will come.

My best 60 foot on 20's (nexcens?) was 2.017 with no wheelspin on 307rwkw. Dont know what a standard stally is like but try and stall it to 2400 and you should get your 2.0 60 foot. That will get you down to your 12.4 easy. As for a burnout on street tyres, I've always driven around the water and not done one, and my best 60 foot was with no burnout. Saying that though, I am a tight ass and didnt want to burn my street tyres out. (Get some MT's and you'll be in the 11's for sure with that MPH) Your mph indicates a very low 12 on streets. Good luck mate on your next outing and let us know how you go!!! Sounds to me like the someone has been bitten by the 'drag bug'.LolCheersSteve Edited 03/08/09 07:43 AM by FPV_Steve

Given your MPH you should crack a low 12 fairly easy.I have just bought an 03 T myself not long ago and was thinking of taking it to the strip for a run as standard, then start a few mods. Let me know when you are going to run it again and I might head out as well!Coop.
