COuld it have a Valet Tune in it from the Flash Box????

I think the Valet Tune is setup not to rev over 3000rpm.

SOmeone can confirm this though,

no tune, how would traction control stop it from going fast over 3000rpm? never happened b4

stock as a rock

qik1 : 50-50 it seems but when I put the foot down /...... no chance just gives up totally

could be coils or plugs if theres enough of them gone. Can you go over 3000 if you just ease the foot down???

When it's in neutral does it rev freely or is it only under load? Coils will usually play up under load but if it's also not reving freely sounds like it could be your cat mate.
