Posted 30/07/09 06:29 AM Share Posted 30/07/09 06:29 AM I looked into it and was offered the same kinda set up. The whole extra dash unit was what turned me off, kinda sounded like an ebay special. Im just gonna save some pennys and get a camera set up through ASL, one of the site sponsors.

It IS a little tacky and very 'ebay special' like, however having used it for 10 months or so, I can say it's been reliable and extremely accurate in the distances to impact that gets displayed. Very practical. For the money though I'd go with something else. Are you in Sydney? I just had sensors installed on a work car and for the same money you can get sensors which are barely visible and come wiht a audible chime and spoken distance to impact warnings. Name of the store escapes me right now however they are in Ryde. PM if this info is relevant and I'll get you more info.
