A bit 'thick' you say?

Stick with your book mate. Sounds like you don't know too much about your car......

Your pretty quick to jump down peoples throats mate! The little high revving beasts that he MAY have had in the past would have enjoyed the thinner oil, so he's coming with that knowledge on board...

Its already been proved that you have a lack of knowledge about automobilia, so why not ease up a bit...

I'd only use the 5-30 synthetics on smaller Jap or Euro engines. I'm using the Edge 0-40, but I'm moving to a 10-40 on the next change, especially as the weather warms up.

How do you figure, oh wise one??

Do you know the OP? If not, how do you know he MAY know what he's talking about?

Learn some English mate. Where was it 'proved' that I have a lack of knowledge about your so called 'automobilia'?

Your post is ever so constructive.

If you have an issue with me and my posts take it up via pm. Not in here where you may think you look like a hero.

The word may, indicates there is a possibility that the OP has a clue, and he suggests that he does have knowledge with his previous vehicles.

Back to school for you again, this time its English class' instead of automotive class'

See you in a month when you reply with research, a la 'Diesel Whistle Thread'

LMAO

The only problem here "South" is that you are about a day behind. The OP and phantm have already made up. Move along and stop picking fights.

Not picking fights at all, people come on here for help and then BAM! get abused for asking a question that they want clarified. PHANTM is really good for arguing points that he doesn't know about...

That is my only argument, and am glad the OP got the result he was after.
