Engine Oil In My Coolant Tank!

so is the cooler water cooled....dosen't it just fit on before the oil filter with a couple of hoses running off it to the cooler.....no water around there is there?????

Nick,from what I have been told I believe it is water cooled,I could be wrong(knowing me I probably am!)

eddie I would start with the oil cooler would be the cheapest option :censored:

sounds like the sensible option to me, those shim gaskets dont leak. If the head gasket was leaking or the head was cracked there would be water in the oil.

hi guys,well the verdict is in,by the looks of it it was the oil cooler!!I also rang my tuner to tell him my problem and his reply first up was the oil cooler,so I had my fingers crossed for it to be that!!I put the new cooler on, cleaned /flushed the cooling system twice to get all the oil out,put new oil filter and oil in her run it for 20 minutes,no more oil in the water..just like to thanks all who gave input to my problem :bowdown: .now to start saving again to get my intercooler and full exhaust put on and retuned!!
