It's not like I'm a hoon, in-experience driver. The car is N/A and it've got the same engine as Falcon XT. I don't see any reason why they have to raise age restriction on this. For you Wookie, you're still in green P I guess and under 21 yo, that price is not bad. Good move to put your grandma's name in there.

If you are 30 or less then the premiums will be up considerably. I'm 50+ and paid $900 for a brand newy in November last year.

gassa Member 42 Member For: 15y 11m Posted 01/08/09 11:18 AM Share Posted 01/08/09 11:18 AM MateAs soon as you mention XR or Coupe to a insurance company the increase premuins by at least 40% try and compare BF XT to a XR and see what I mean. Unfortunately XR means preformance and you will pay dearly for that. Have a look at how many preformance vehicle are for sale at the auctions damaged.Gassa

Guest XR09 Guests Posted 17/08/09 09:59 AM Share Posted 17/08/09 09:59 AM I am a postie and I have an FG XR n/a and we all use GWS Genco Group in Melbourne. Mine is buisness full comprehensive and they charge mw $830 p/a and that's with the pretty standard $500 excess. If you are under 21 add $750. Under 25 but over 21 add $300I am not sure if they do the general public but for the money it's worth a try.ph 03 8420 8700cheers hope this helps you
