There are miles of topics with Dealer horror stories out there, but the good and decent dealers rarely are recognised for their good deeds. If you have had a GOOD experience with a dealer, name them and post your story. They deserve to be honoured in a world full of corrupt and lazy dealers...

Dealer: Carpenter Ford - Gatton QLD

Story: These guys are great, I have taken my car there for one service and had several warranty claims honored as well. Diffs bushes, leaking timing cover, door inserts falling off, door insetrs surface bubbles. All items fixed within one day without any dramas, they even double check their work and wont let you have it back until its perfect.

This morning I noticed the little sticker at the top of the windscreen that has your next service kms etc. They actually recognise the need for turbos to have an oil change sooner than 15,000kms and so have filled out the sticker accordingly. In 7,500kms they request it back for another oil change. Most dealers wouldnt give a damn, or would prefer you to wait the 15k.

Also, the service guy has a 500rwhp BF turbo with the dyno sheet laminated at the counter. Very cool :spoton: . Had a good chat about plans for future mods, he understands the passion. I would recommend them to anyone living in Toowoomba (dont even bother with Toowoomba Southern Cross Ford....) or brisi.

Cheers

Range Ford, Maddington WA.

No screwing around, just honest and straight forward in both sales and service. Just got a nice new HUGGGGGGE workshop too.

I wasn't happy with the tint on one window, so they had all the windows retinted and the car cleaned and vacuumed.

Peter warren smithfield NSW. Was a welcome change from the usual ford service nightmare.

They were very good on arival (spent time to work out exactly what was wrong)

Fixed all within a day (cept ac temp sensor which is on back order) and obviously road tested the car to check (a first)

called me to say it was ready, and not at 4:55pm like other dealers, so there were people there that could help if something wasnt right - evrything was right.

only been there once so far but it looks promising

just had another visit to peter warren smihtfield for warranty work and it has just reinforced that I should have gone there from the begining. My whole attitude towards ford would probably be different.

Big thanks to David for making it hassel free. (attidude makes the biggest difference)
