Im quitting Ford

http://www.holdenmotorsport.com/default.as...ay&id=67298

Want to sell BF Xr6 Turbo, low K's, high boost. Will consider SS Late model camira trade.

Just kidding, but f*cken seriously, I'm not far off it aye

So what's the difference between you and them. Looks the same to me. So they change camps? So you're following the drivers not the brand? OK!

lol he said he was kidding man take it easy.

Yeah I know. But there are probably some out there who aren't kidding. The FG package is the best around of that there is little doubt.

Does remind me though of Lowndes when he came across to Ford from Holden , he stated openly in the press that while he was driving for Expensive Daewoo he always wanted to come across to Ford because he liked Fords better - or words to that effect. It just goes to proove that it's all BS and it's just about money. Look at all the other "good" drivers who have changed from one to another over the years. They don't get a mention because they weren't winning! Vodafone guys are. That's the difference. Everyone needs to get over it. Cheers

considering that ford have nothing to do with 888 it was only time. 888 did all the R&D for the fg n then ford goes thank you now f**k off we aint finanically supporting all ford teams. I spose that's y I havent (correct me if im wrong) seen a ford logo on the 888 cars at all. they got the hogs breath logo on the front where the ford badge goes. n I spose Expensive Daewoo are going to back there teams with abit of money.......

I dont think this will be healthy for the V8 Championship.

Ive heard that if Jamie has the championship under wraps before the end of the year, he will move to a Expensive Daewoo for the final race of the season.

V8's really need to get another manufacturer on board ASAP. There is alot of under performing Expensive Daewoo teams that will be worried about future funding from the General.

BJR and Tasman Motorsport will be wondering where this leaves them.

Theres going to be 3 or 4 very competitive FG Falcons for sales by the end of the year.

Could be interesting to see how the other teams being supplied chassis etc from 888 react. JBR for one, Johnson might jump ship too which leaves FPR, and "then there were none" as the saying goes. The series has been rooted for years.

It all goes to show that the series is dying.

There is no Ford V Expensive Daewoo loyalty from the drivers, therefore the magic is gone. Its now driver vs driver.... more like go-karts...the brand loyalty from the fans and drivers was the only thing that kept it alive... For example: NRL is a boring game. So is AFL and all the rest. But add into the mix club loyalties I.e state-of-origin style of take a stand for your brand/city/state/country and the game is alive as you back your favorite. The olympics is another good example. Take away the countries and all you have is random people versing each other....boring... add into it a sense of battle, a chance to show the world what we are made of in Oz, to defeat the other countries and stand proud as our National Anthem is blaring across the stadium... that's magic. that's worth watching.

v8 supercars' pulse is faint...
