Hi all,

Just installed a turbosmart tee piece in my xr6t. Running 7 pound now. made a big difference and my otherwise stock setup seems to be handling it quite nicely.

Just wanted to hear people's thoughts on what I've done, and to now if anyone else has tried this.

Not something I would be keen to do. Just can't be sure the afr's are ok and the car is running fine.

Capa flash is the only way tuned on a dyno.

Just my opinion.

By afr's do you mean air fuel ratios?

And another dumb question is does having a tune mean you can set your boost higher using the computer?

cheers

you cant change the boost with the flash box but your tuner will be able to while its on the dyno

Yes air fuel ratios. When you increase boost you need to increase fuel to match. Tuning on the dyno will allow the tuner to adjust boost, fuel and timing so it all works together for a safe tune for your engine.

I wouldn't go giving it too much without checking afr's. Otherwise

TICK, TICK BOOOOM!

You don't want the boom unless you want to fork out for a new engine!
