Ah, good ol' Sh!tty Ford. They stitched me up good & proper back in the mid 90's. Would'nt touch em with a 10 foot di1do.

thx for the comment but im not looking for the usual dealer bagging response.

I bought my car from SA and it has strange dealer identification no from City Ford in Sydney, looks a bit weird.

I just want to check to see if anybody has had their car book stamped the same way by City ford before I get all upset speak to the dealer who sold me the car.

Does anybody or has any body had servicing at City ford in Sydney before and has their handbook stamped?

happy with the service and work done?

Yes on both counts ,they were vey helpfull in the begining, however when they buckled the rear rim ,they said nothing after a service and replyed : these alloy rims fail frequently.

that was the last time I let them near my car ,lesson learnt

Just ring City Ford - they will confirm the servicing history. They can just look up the VIN or the old rego on the computer.

Cheers

Dan

Fair enough, but you did ask if people were happy with the service & work done, did you not?

I bought a car from them & was not happy when they jammed me on their extended warranty due to a technicality.

I've had good experiences with other dealers but not them.

Yes,

Did they do a good job...... My turbo failed just after the 60,000km service because they did not replace the turbo oil filter. I suppose you could call this a minor oversight....NOT!

It might be worth while checking out City Ford in Sydney and Arncliffe, Both Have new service managers and both have replaced managers that have been at their jobs for over 25 years. You know what they say about new blood. oh yeah just a little heads up, the service manager at Arncliffe is Con and he happens to be the brother in law of Con from C&V Performance and just like Con from C&V he too is a realy nice guy.
