xr's had red rocker cover, fpv's blue. factory gas pox green. they are not colour coded to the car, you have to do that yourself!

yeh man I was refering to the actual paint job of the engine bays as there dont seem to be much quality from what cars ive seen , but alot vary of what ford done with them eg. my mates was black from factory in a blueshock colour I think its called n mine is in neo like my car but with no metalic or clear .

yeah the engine bay finish sucks. I guess its a good reason to have lightning strike- the primer colour in the bay looks like its colour coded (sort of).

just had a better look at my mates bay n its glossed so not factory but does look better and I don't fill ripped off knowing every 1 has same standard from factory :) now I just can't w8 to get my pipping etc happening so I can start looking like some of these pics of beauties in this post as sweet job guys looking good

Hey guys, I want to paint the rocker cover as many of us have, my question is -a) what are the torque settings when refitting it, and b) should I replace the rocker cover gasket at the same time?
