Well I spoke to some people and yes limited slip diffs can induce under steer and over steer. Over steer will only happen when you put your foot down too hard, which can still happen without LSD anyway. As for under steer, it depends on the type of diff as to how much and under what circumstances. Apparently that's why heaps of manufacturers are making electronically controlled diffs so that they're open in the situations when a mechanical diff would induce under steer.

The diff place said that 1.5 way LSD under steers significantly less than 2 way LSD. 1.5 way LSD means that it's active under acceleration and only partially active under deceleration. Basically, with the right LSD I'll get more traction under acceleration without any significant amount of under steer.

Does anyone know what type of LSD they fit to our Fords?
