That sounds pretty spot on.

Mine jump in both the upward and downward strokes.

stang, I did not buy the low profile Bosch wiper replacements that you are thinking off. I just got the normal fugly ones like from factory.

I'll swap the inserts first and go from there.

I hate to admit this but I find that the ones Ford sell are the best I have come across. Streak free and lasts much longer then repco or super cheap blades.

I fitted these about a month ago linky and I believe they are the best.

Replaces the whoe wiper head(same sort of blade as on the commonwhores)

Only problem is they are not cheap ie $30-$40 a blade

Dags comment is not so silly, I had an AU with a dip in the front screen about 5 inches in Dia., just replaced it.

Yea, I would try picking up some rubber ones to test, shouldn't cost more then $10 at the most.

Ok bit of an update. Picked up some $5 wiper inserts from Caltex on the way home from work and replaced the $30 Bosch inserts and bingo no more lumping wipers.

I just tried them in the garage so there is still a change these could turn to $hit too but I will only know after driving in the rain.

I thought it was due to the rubber one going hard that they do this, that's why they brought out silicon ones :beerchug:
