it looks really good.

just from a functional point of view, you don't want to be ramming more air under the bonnet...

swing the vent 180deg and move em abit further back and I'd buy one

Ok, a mechanic mate of mine said that having the vents pointing back towards the windscreen is illegal - this is to prevent a case where if an oil line or something was to break under the hood whilst driving, you wouldn't have oil and crap spraying onto the windscreen, and hence impeding vision blah blah blah.

I also preferred the vents spun but I guess it's not to be...

Has anyone ever seen Scott Draper from Ho Intercepters bonnet he did? It has small vents in the front then a bigger vent at the back to let the hot air travel out of.

Im not too sure if they are still in business as I heard the bush fires destroyed the workshop. An original Phase 4 also went down in the blaze.

Yep that was one of the first vented bonnets out, not to sure how well it would work as it is getting close to the high pressure area at the bottom of the windscreen.

It is EXACTLY what I thought of a couple months ago and wished existed...I love love LOVE XB/XC GT bonnets and want one for my car. I'd be interested in it from a functionality POV though, if ramming air in is bad I'd have to pass or have non functional " " monaro "vents". If it could legally carry the air back out (or whatever the more techy members think would be good) it'd be awesome.

Fantastic work at any rate. Best looking bonnet ever the XB GT :D

FFS. Now he said after looking up the mod book, it doesn't make mention of rearward facing vents being illegal... :beerchug: And sounded so convincing the first time!! Bastage!

Not sure when they will be forsale,I still have work to do on the plug and make sure its as good as possible before I make the mould. It all takes time.I have been putting thought into the reversing of the vents aswell, not practical for me as it would mean starting over completely,so what I thought of was the reverse cowl that the cobras had.mabye cut a vent in the bonnet with a gauze insert under the cowl ,that would be a practical resolution to vent out the hot air out and would certinaly give it a tough look.
